Classes and events

Dear Me

An evening to come back to yourself. Slow yoga, a letter written to yourself after an hour on the mat, and yoga nidra to close. Ten people, candles lit. Runs a few times a year.

Ailbhe standing calmly with hands at heart centre, eyes closed, lit by warm afternoon light.

Into the Flow

A four-week series for beginners or anyone coming back to the mat after a break. We move together, step by step, until by week four it flows. Small group, six people maximum.

Ailbhe standing tall with one arm extended, calm and grounded in warm light.

Slow Flow

A weekly drop-in class for all levels. Hatha-based, gentle, with breathwork and a proper rest at the end. This isn't about getting it right. It's about showing up.

Hand lighting an incense cone beside a small tin, soft daylight.

Slow Burn

A candlelit evening of slow yoga and meditation. We'll work with an ancient candle gazing practice that's surprisingly simple and calming — the kind of thing you'll find yourself coming back to on a weeknight evening when you need to reset.

In their words

What people say

"I found the Into the Flow course with Ailbhe really beneficial. I had always told myself that yoga wasn't for me, whenever I'd tried classes in the past I found them quite difficult and off-putting. Ailbhe guided us through everything at exactly the right pace, and her kind and warm approach made her a wonderful person to learn from. I now feel much more confident about joining a class going forward."

— Rachel Owens

"I thoroughly enjoyed the Dear Me 2-hour yoga experience Ailbhe hosted. It felt like such a luxury to fully switch off and immerse myself in relaxation and self-reflection. Every detail was considered — from the small bunches of dried flowers and the beautiful notecards, to delicious chocolates at the end. I floated out feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated."

— Elaine

"Ailbhe's slow flow yoga class was exactly what my body and mind needed. The atmosphere was incredibly calming right from the start. The pace of the class encouraged me to really listen to my body and be present in the moment. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and centred."

— Andrea

"My first yoga class with Ailbhe was gentle and mindful, and exactly what I needed. Her calm guidance made me feel at ease from the start, and the peaceful atmosphere helped me slow down and breathe. I left feeling relaxed, grounded, and really glad I showed up."

Questions

Things people often wonder

Especially if it's your first time.

Do I need to have done yoga before?

Not at all. All of my classes are suitable for complete beginners. If you're coming for the first time, just let me know beforehand so I can make sure you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

Do I need to be flexible?

Definitely not. Flexibility is something yoga gives you over time — it's not something you need to bring with you. Whatever your body can do right now is exactly right.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move in. A yoga mat if you have one, but don't worry if you don't. I provide mats, so you can just show up.

Where are the classes held?

Classes take place in North County Dublin — across Portmarnock, Malahide and Baldoyle. The exact location will be confirmed when you book.

How many people are in a class?

Small. That's intentional. Slow Flow fits up to ten, Into the Flow has a maximum of six. Dear Me and Slow Burn are also kept small so the atmosphere stays intimate.

I'm nervous about trying yoga for the first time — is that normal?

Completely normal, and honestly, it's the main reason I keep classes small. There's no pressure to keep up, no competition, and no wrong way to do it. People usually leave wondering why they waited so long.
